At Academy Safe, our mission is to promote and enhance the safety and well-being of martial arts students across the United States and Canada. As a dedicated non-profit organization, we strive to create a secure environment where martial arts practitioners can thrive. By establishing a comprehensive martial arts registry and fostering a culture of safety, we are committed to making martial arts a safe and enriching experience for all. Background Checks for All Staff and Coaches
Every staff member and coach will undergo thorough background checks to ensure a safe environment.
U.S. Center for SafeSport Certification
All staff and coaches will be certified by the U.S. Center for SafeSport, ensuring a commitment to a safe and respectful training environment.
Concussion Course
All registered academies must complete the concussion training available on our site for staff and coaches. This training equips them with essential knowledge to recognize, manage, and prevent concussions, ensuring a safer training environment for all martial arts practitioners.
Defibrillators on Premises
Academies must have defibrillators readily available on-site to address any potential emergencies swiftly.
CPR, FIRST AID, AND DEFIBRILLATOR CERTIFICATION
All staff and coaches are required to hold current CPR, First Aid, and Defibrillator certifications, ensuring they are prepared to respond effectively in emergencies.
Security Cameras
All participating academies must have cameras installed to enhance safety and security within the facility.
Verification of Owner’s Belt Rank and/or Lineage
We will verify the owner’s belt rank to ensure it meets the required standards and qualifications.
Academy/Business Insurance
Each academy is required to maintain comprehensive business insurance coverage, which protects both the academy and its students from potential liabilities.
